RI Access to Benefits

Since 1992, the Rhode Island Community Action Association (RICAA) has been a catalyst for change and a vital part of a coordinated effort to eliminate poverty in our state. We are dedicated to assisting Rhode Islander’s such as yourself, and bettering the accessibility of benefits and services offered to low-income and working Rhode Islanders.

The RI Access to Benefits was developed by the Rhode Island Community Action Association to provide a single, comprehensive, and “One–Door” access resource to prescreen for potential eligibility to your local Community Action Agency (CAAs) for countless services and programs.

Your information will first be sent to the Rhode Island Community Action Association then transmitted to the appropriate Community Action Agency (CAAs) right in your neighborhood community. This single form will prescreen before you any and all programs and services offered by your local Community Action Agencies (CAAs). After prescreening the application is reviewed, you will then be assigned a case manager from your local Community Action Agency (CAA).
